We are looking for a Salesforce OMS (Salesforce Order Management) Tech Lead to drive the implementation of enterprise-grade OMS solutions for a leading food retail organization. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex order lifecycle processes, integrations with critical business systems, and large-scale Salesforce ecosystems while mentoring developers and influencing technical strategy.
As the technical leader, you will play a key role in architecture discussions, development quality, integration design, and delivery excellence.
Technical Leadership

Lead the design, development, and configuration of Salesforce OMS solutions.

Serve as the primary technical reference for OMS-related initiatives.

Mentor and support development teams, promoting best practices and technical excellence.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality, security, and performance standards.

Drive technical decision-making and solution scalability.
Salesforce OMS Implementation
Design and implement end-to-end order management capabilities, including:

Order capture and validation
-
Order orchestration and routing
-
Fulfillment and shipment management
-
Returns, exchanges, and cancellations
Develop solutions using:

Salesforce OMS
-
Apex
-
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
-
Salesforce Flows and Automation Tools
Ensure optimal use of standard Salesforce functionality while minimizing unnecessary customizations.
Integration & Enterprise Connectivity

Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce OMS and external enterprise systems.

Integrate with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Connect Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), logistics providers, and payment platforms.

Design and implement REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven architectures.

Collaborate with middleware teams, including MuleSoft specialists.
Agile Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.

Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
-
Participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery planning.

Provide technical estimates and implementation roadmaps.
Performance & Optimization

Optimize order processing performance and system scalability.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks across OMS processes.

Support troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents.

Ensure solutions support high-volume transaction environments.
Governance & Engineering Excellence

Apply Salesforce development best practices and platform governance standards.

Maintain technical documentation, APIs, and data models.
-
Support CI/CD pipelines and version control strategies.
-
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Must-Have Experience
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of Salesforce development experience.

Proven hands-on experience implementing Salesforce OMS (SOM).

Strong expertise in:

Solid understanding of order lifecycle management and commerce operations.

Experience designing and implementing integrations and APIs.

Strong communication skills in English (B2 or higher).

Salesforce OMS Accreditation.

Salesforce Integration Certifications.

Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B and/or B2C).
