You'll own our AUTOMATE practice end-to-end, the layer of our Agentic Growth Stack where we ship multi-agent systems for enterprise clients in the €30k to €150k range. This is the most critical practice for our market positioning: we are a HubSpot Diamond Partner and Anthropic Partner, on a path to DACH Category Leader for Agentic Revenue Operations by 2028, and the only consultancy in our market combining HubSpot platform expertise with genuine multi-agent delivery at enterprise scale.
The seat does not exist yet. You'll be the first to hold it.
You'll scale the AI Team from 5 to 10+ FTE across Lisbon and Tbilisi within 12 months. You'll publish the methodology by which we scope, price, build, and operate agent systems. You'll stand up the AI Governance framework (EU AI Act, prompt-injection defense, agent audit logs). You'll be the technical authority in CTO-level enterprise sales conversations alongside Sales and Advisory. And you'll keep enough fingers on the keyboard to read an agent trace fluently and challenge an Engineer's design with a credible alternative.
You'll report to the Director Development & Technology, with a direct strategy line into the CEO on AUTOMATE positioning and pricing. Lisbon is your home base because it's our engineering anchor and gives the practice non-DACH talent reach, with monthly Sindelfingen visits for Leadership and Sales & Advisory cadence.
You'll define and publish our AUTOMATE methodology within your first 3 months: how we scope, price, build, and operate agent systems, used by Sales, Advisory, and Engineering
You'll hire and onboard the AI Team to 10+ FTE across Lisbon and Tbilisi within 9 months: 3 AI Solution Architects, 2 Agentic Engineers, 2 AI & Data Engineers, 1 AI Governance & Safety Specialist
You'll ship 8+ production-grade agent systems for enterprise clients within 12 months
You'll lift AUTOMATE-layer revenue to at least 25% of new bookings, measured per quarter
You'll establish our AI Governance framework: EU AI Act readiness, internal AI policy, prompt-injection defense playbook, agent audit log standards
You'll build and operate our reusable agent framework as a Practice asset, used across every AUTOMATE engagement
You'll establish a public thought-leadership presence for our agentic delivery approach: 4+ talks, papers, or major content pieces in your first year
You'll partner with Sales and Advisory as the technical authority on enterprise pre-sales conversations
Must-haves
8+ years in AI/ML or AI consulting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or principal role
Track record building or scaling an AI/ML or agentic practice from sub-10 to 20+ FTE in a consulting or product context. You've owned the hiring bar, the methodology, and the commercial relationship
Personally architected and shipped multi-agent systems to production. You can hold the technical authority chair in a CTO-level conversation, not just a vendor pitch
Scoped, priced, and won AI/agentic deals at €100k+. You read margin, utilisation, and pipeline coverage like a Practice Lead
Working fluency with EU AI Act, GDPR for AI systems, model risk management, prompt-injection defense, and agent audit standards. You've stood up an AI policy or governance framework before
Hands-on hiring track record for AI Engineers, Agentic Engineers, or AI Solution Architects in Europe (5+ direct hires)
Cross-site leadership experience across at least 2 timezones
Still hands-on: you've personally written production AI code within the last 24 months and you read agent traces fluently
Business-fluent English (daily working language across all sites)

You'll report directly to the Director Development & Technology, with a strategy line into the CEO on positioning and pricing.
