Head of Mobile

Findhu is recruiting a Head of Mobile for an innovative Portuguese technology company operating in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Emotion Intelligence.
The company develops technology capable of capturing real-time emotional responses through smartphone sensors and AI, transforming these signals into actionable data that helps organizations better understand how people experience their products and services.
With its technology already validated, the company is now entering a global scaling phase, seeking a technical leader capable of building and leading mobile solutions designed to support millions of users worldwide.
The Role
We are looking for a Head of Mobile to lead the strategy and development of the company’s mobile applications.
This role will be responsible for defining the technical architecture, ensuring the scalability and reliability of mobile solutions, and leading the mobile engineering team responsible for developing the company’s apps and SDKs.
This is a strategic role combining technical leadership, product thinking, and strong execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the vision and strategy for mobile development
- Lead and grow the mobile engineering team
- Establish architecture standards and technical guidelines for mobile apps and SDKs
- Oversee the development of iOS, Android and cross-platform mobile applications
- Ensure high standards of performance, scalability, and security
- Implement best practices in development, testing, and CI/CD
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and AI teams
Ideal Profile
- Strong experience in mobile software development
- Solid knowledge of native mobile development (Swift and/or Kotlin)
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native
- Proven experience building scalable mobile applications
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture and engineering best practices
- Experience with APIs, backend integrations, and SDK development
- Familiarity with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and mobile DevOps
- Ability to lead technical decisions and guide engineering teams
Experience with sensor-based technologies, wearable devices, or high-scale mobile systems is a plus.
