About the Role
This is a high‑impact, global role at the intersection of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Technical Operations, and IT. You will own and drive end‑to‑end supply chain processes for injectable products, while leading digital enablement and harmonization across internal sites and external manufacturing partners (CMOs).
You’ll help shape how we plan, manufacture, distribute, and digitally manage injectable products—from aseptic production and fill‑finish to cold‑chain distribution and serialization—ensuring uninterrupted patient supply.
Key Responsibilities
Global Process Ownership (Injectables)
Own and govern end‑to‑end supply chain processes for injectables, including demand & supply planning, S&OP/IBP, aseptic manufacturing planning, inventory & expiry management, and cold‑chain distribution
Design scalable, standardized processes that address injectables‑specific challenges (long lead times, campaign manufacturing, yield variability)
Ensure alignment with regulatory, sterility, and internal quality standards
Systems & Digital Enablement
Act as the business lead for injectables supply chain systems (ERP, planning tools, serialization/traceability platforms)
Translate complex business requirements into system and data design
Partner with IT on compliant, validated system enhancements and new digital capabilities
Lead master data governance (BOMs, routings, shelf life, batch management)
Manufacturing & External Network Integration
Integrate internal sterile sites and CMOs into global processes and systems
Govern interfaces between planning, MES, MRP, and Quality systems
Drive consistent execution across packaging and distribution stages
Compliance, Quality & Risk
Ensure GxP compliance, data integrity, and audit readiness
Identify and mitigate risks related to sterility, capacity, cold chain, and obsolescence
Transformation & Change Leadership
Lead global supply chain transformation and harmonization initiatives
Drive change management, training, and capability building
Champion continuous improvement in service, inventory, and cycle time
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or IS (Master’s preferred)
Manager: 6–8+ years | Senior Manager: 8–12+ years of supply chain experience, preferably within injectables or sterile manufacturing
Strong experience in regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environments
Deep understanding of injectable supply chain complexities (aseptic manufacturing, cold chain, shelf life)
Hands‑on experience with SAP, IBP/APO, or similar planning systems
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional, global initiatives without direct authority
➕ Nice to Have
Experience with sterile injectables, biologics, or high‑potency products
Exposure to CMOs and external manufacturing networks
APICS, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma certification
Experience with serialization and cold‑chain traceability systems
✈️ Travel: Occasional (up to 10%)
