At the moment, we are looking for a SAP EWM Expert to join an international project — and you might be THE ONE.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- EWM Implementation: Lead and actively participate in all phases of EWM implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, training, and go‑live support.
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Solution Design: Configure and design EWM solutions including layouts, put‑away and removal strategies, integration with S/4HANA modules (MM, SD, TM & QM), 3PL and MES systems. Experience with RF integration framework and RF screen enhancements.
- Inbound Process: Configure and optimize inbound processes such as goods receipt, put‑away, quality management and returns.
- Outbound Process: Design and implement outbound processes including order fulfilment, picking, packing, staging and shipping, ensuring integration with transportation management.
- Production Integration (PP‑EWM): Integrate EWM with manufacturing processes, ensuring accurate material flow and inventory tracking.
- Physical Inventory: Define and implement physical inventory procedures, cycle counting, reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Documentation & Training: Prepare system documentation, process flows and user manuals. Conduct end‑user training sessions.
- Testing & Issue Resolution: Plan and execute unit, integration and user acceptance testing. Resolve system issues, defects, IDoc errors and queue problems.
- Communication & Collaboration: Interact effectively with clients and project teams, providing expert guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in SAP EWM
- Strong experience in EWM configuration and implementation
- Experience with inbound, outbound, PP‑EWM and physical inventory processes
- Experience with RF framework, IDoc troubleshooting and queue resolution
- Experience integrating EWM with S/4HANA modules (MM, SD, TM, QM)
- Experience with 3PL and MES integrations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Living in Portugal
