As part of Groupe BPCE’s international division, Natixis in Portugal designs and delivers solutions for its two core areas, Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth Management, as well as transversal services that support all entities across the Group.

We are looking for skilled Senior Java Developers to join the BPCE-SI (Solutions Informatiques) team.
Main responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain scalable Java applications;
Collaborate with product managers, architects and other developers to understand project needs and transform them into technical specifications;
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback and mentor junior team members;
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner;
Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications;
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance development practices;
Participate in Agile/Scrum processes to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
Hard skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline;
Minimum of 5 years of Java development experience;
Strong experience with Java frameworks, such as Spring and Hibernate;
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture;
Proficiency in database management, including SQL and NoSQL;
Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript, is a plus;
Strong communication skills in English;
Communication skills in French are valued.
