CONTEXT
This role is focused on infrastructure automation, CI/CD integration, production support, and platform modernization, within a complex enterprise environment. The professional will contribute to the automation and standardization of infrastructure, support application and infrastructure deployments, improve observability and performance, and participate in strategic transformation initiatives involving scheduling, messaging, caching, and deployment tooling.
This is a hands-on role for someone with strong experience in DevOps, automation, and support engineering, especially in environments with a strong operational and infrastructure component.
MAIN MISSION
To design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation and deployment processes, ensuring reliable, scalable, and standardized environments, while supporting platform modernization, observability, performance, and operational excellence.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain automation for infrastructure provisioning and configuration, mainly in Windows environments, while also supporting Linux where applicable
- Build and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories, ensuring idempotent, reusable, and standardized automation across environments
- Refactor and modernize existing PowerShell scripts, migrating or adapting them to Ansible and Python where relevant
- Integrate infrastructure automation into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring traceability, repeatability, and deployment reliability
- Support deployment and release processes, contributing to automation, orchestration, and operational governance across environments
- Participate in the migration of scheduling and orchestration solutions, including the analysis of job chains, dependencies, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms
- Manage incidents, problems, changes, and tasks using operational governance tools, ensuring end-to-end traceability between code, deployments, and production events
- Contribute to performance and capacity initiatives, including the integration and execution of performance tests and the identification of bottlenecks
- Support strategic platform evolutions such as messaging, event streaming, and caching technologies, with focus on automation, deployment, and maintenance
- Contribute to platform observability and reliability by integrating health checks, smoke tests, post-deployment validation, dashboards, metrics, and alerting
- Ensure secure management of credentials and secrets in automation and deployment processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, operational procedures, and automation standards
- Collaborate with development, operations, support, and product teams in an international and cross-functional environment
PROFILE & SKILLS
- Experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or Support Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience in automation within enterprise environments, ideally with a strong production and operational component
- Experience in Windows-based infrastructure automation, with additional exposure to Linux as a plus
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment orchestration, release processes, and infrastructure-as-code principles
- Experience in troubleshooting, production support, and operational governance in complex environments
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in an international environment
