We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join an innovative technology project in the mobility sector. Define test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
Perform functional, exploratory, UI, and REST API testing to ensure high-quality software deliveries.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through to resolution.
Collaborate closely with Development, Product, and Business teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, test automation, and quality standards.
Share knowledge and mentor team members to foster a strong quality culture.
7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Proven experience leading the QA function across software delivery projects.
Hands-on experience with Postman, SOAP UI, and Wireshark for API testing and analysis.
Experience with browser developer tools for frontend/UI testing.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
Experience with Jira and SQL/Oracle databases.
Practical experience using AI to enhance QA processes (highly valued).
Knowledge of Selenium and/or JMeter is a plus.
Intermediate level of English.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Work model: Hybrid (2–3 days per week on-site in the Porto area).
