We're looking for a Senior SAP Master Data Consultant to join our team in Portugal in a remote working mode. In this role, you will design, implement, and support robust SAP IS Retail master data solutions that power business processes across multiple regions. You will play a key part in delivering scalable and integrated solutions, ensuring data integrity and driving continuous process improvement in a global retail environment.
Responsibilities

Translate business needs into advanced capabilities using SAP standard functionalities
- Identify enhancements and create functional requirements to guide application design
- Configure SAP systems and draft WRICEF functional specifications
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure alignment with functional and quality standards
- Conduct functional and integration testing, supporting UAT phases
- Deliver scalable and sustainable SAP solutions across countries and business models
- Provide 3rd level functional support and application administration
- Collaborate across modules to ensure seamless integration and system consistency
- Support change management through training content and functional expertise
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, promoting continuous enhancement
Requirements

10+ years of experience in SAP implementations from design to Go-Live
- Minimum of 7 years specializing in SAP IS Retail functionalities
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of SAP IS Retail master data processes
- Expertise in SAP IS Retail architecture and integration scenarios
- Deep knowledge of master data objects (Articles, Sites, Vendors, Customers, Pricing, Hierarchies)
- Experience with custom enhancements, Fiori apps, and parameterization frameworks
- Proficiency in integration technologies (ALE/EDI, IDocs, APIs, OData) and middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft)
- Hands-on experience with SAP configuration (IMG) and SAP tools like BAPIs, user exits, and LSMW
- Strong understanding of retail processes (P2P, O2C) and cross-module integration (MM, SD, FI)
- Ability to interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and produce detailed specifications
