As a Head of Steward (M/F), you will be responsible for the pantry team and for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the spaces, complying with internal hygiene and food safety standards and procedures (HACCP) in order to guarantee a quality and excellent service, exceeding customer expectations.

Lead and support the Stewarding team, ensuring the effective allocation and completion of daily tasks.

Ensure the cleanliness, organisation and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas.

Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety procedures, including HACCP standards.

Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.

Ensure the availability and replenishment of crockery, cutlery and other operational supplies.

Monitor cleaning supply stock levels and report replenishment requirements.

Ensure the proper use, handling and maintenance of stewarding equipment.

Work closely with the Kitchen and Restaurant teams to deliver an efficient operation and an excellent guest experience.

Proven experience in managing stewarding teams or operational cleaning functions within the hospitality and food & beverage industry.

Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards, including HACCP procedures.

Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and manage teams effectively.

High level of responsibility, organisation and attention to detail.

Strong planning skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Service-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality and guest satisfaction.

Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage peak service periods.

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Basic knowledge of stock management and consumables control.

Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
