We are looking for a Senior SAP Finance & Risk Consultant to support global SAP Finance initiatives, ensuring that business requirements are translated into scalable and sustainable SAP solutions.
The professional will act as a subject matter expert for Finance & Risk processes, supporting solution validation, architecture governance, process improvements, and S/4HANA transformation initiatives within an international environment.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid)
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Finance & Risk business processes.
- Analyze and validate SAP solutions against business requirements and operational needs.
- Support SAP S/4HANA implementation and transformation initiatives.
- Identify functional gaps, process improvements, and potential risks.
- Participate in business workshops, solution validation sessions, and testing activities.
- Ensure alignment between global business processes and SAP solutions across multiple countries.
- Contribute to architecture documentation and solution design governance.
- Prepare architecture documentation, technical procedures, and implementation guidelines.
- Propose improvements to solution architecture and business processes.
- Support process automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Up to 15 years of professional experience in SAP environments.
- Solid experience with SAP Finance & Risk modules.
- Strong functional knowledge of:
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Treasury
- Payments
- Bank Integration
- Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Experience supporting global or multi-country SAP implementations.
- Experience with architecture documentation and solution governance.
- Knowledge of process management and process automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in international or global delivery environments.
- Previous involvement in enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Experience creating architecture templates, standards, and governance documentation.
