Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and the Spring framework.
Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
Ensure application performance, security, and reliability.
Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps best practices.
Support troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of production issues.
Promote knowledge sharing and mentor junior team members when required.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development.
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and REST API development.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
Experience with Git and code review practices.
Knowledge of cloud-native architectures.
Knowledge of Docker and AWS cloud environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Fluent in English – written and spoken.
