Charging your car should feel as natural as charging your phone. That's the future we're building: a network of EV chargers where life happens. We don't just install chargers. We accelerate sustainable mobility. We obsess over partnerships. We grow relentlessly:our network, our partners, ourselves.
If you're here, you're probably not looking for "just a job." Neither are we. We're driven by impact, and always looking for people who thrive on turning bold ideas into reality. If that sounds like you, you'll feel at home here. We're looking for people who see challenges as puzzles, not problems, thrive in fast-growing, high-energy environments, want to shape the future of mobility, not just watch it unfold. At Powerdot, you'll get freedom, ownership, and responsibility. The space to experiment. The chance to scale your ideas. And a team that's always pushing the edge of what's possible.
Safety isn't a checkbox at Powerdot — it's the foundation of how we operate across 5+ countries, thousands of charging points, and a growing fleet of Field Technicians. As our Central H&S Coordinator, you'll be the architect and guardian of our Health & Safety framework, ensuring every Technician goes home safe every day. You'll be a part of Central Operations team, translating regulatory requirements into practical, scalable processes that our Local Teams can execute with confidence. Your mission is to build a proactive safety culture — one where near-misses are reported without fear, audits drive real improvement, and safety is woven into every intervention we perform.
Your day-to-day will include:
Developing and owning H&S processes across all markets — you'll define the standards, write the playbooks, and continuously improve how we keep our people safe on-site.
Driving the Safety Roadmap & strategic initiatives — you'll own the execution of Powerdot's Safety Roadmap end-to-end. You'll track progress against milestones, flag blockers, and ensure each initiative moves from concept to operational reality.
Bridging Legal and Field Operations — you'll work closely with the Legal Team to stay on top of regulatory changes in each country and coordinate with Local Field Operations to ensure on-site practices remain compliant, translating legal language into actionable field protocols.
Owning the Tools & Safety Gear lifecycle — you'll manage the end-to-end process for Field Technician equipment: from defining technical and safety requirements, develop and own processes for placing and tracking orders, to monitoring expiry dates on safety gear (gloves, helmets, protective clothing) via our tools.
Coordinating H&S Training & Audits — you'll define, organize and structure the safety training calendar: onboarding safety inductions for new Technicians, annual central refresher sessions, and local training. You'll also design and oversee the audit framework, from live-validation safety checks to periodic in-field audits, ensuring findings translate into actionable improvements.
Being the central H&S point of contact — you'll be the go-to person for Local Teams when they face a safety dilemma on the ground. You'll manage a decision-tree guide and FAQ for Field Technicians, support Local Safety Champions in each market, and foster a culture where safety feedback flows openly from the field to the center and back.
Driving Safety OKRs & reporting — you'll define how we measure safety: incident classification frameworks, near-miss reporting, root cause tracking, and leading indicators. You'll work towards a zero-incident target and help celebrate every milestone along the way.
2 years of experience in Health & Safety, operational risk, or a similar coordination role — ideally in a multi-site, field-operations environment (construction, utilities, logistics, or EV charging).
Process-building mindset — you don't just follow procedures; you design them. You've built or significantly improved H&S frameworks from the ground up.
Regulatory literacy — you understand how to read and apply H&S legislation across different jurisdictions.
Training & audit experience — you've organized training programs and conducted or coordinated field audits.
Tools & PPE knowledge — you understand the lifecycle of field equipment: selection, procurement, calibration, maintenance, and retirement. You're comfortable managing supplier relationships for safety-critical gear.
An experience with ISO 450001 is considered a "nice to have" for this position.
Cross-functional coordination skills — you can navigate between Legal, Operations, Finance, and Local Teams without dropping the ball. You communicate clearly across different audiences.
Data-driven & system-savvy — you're comfortable working with field management software, building dashboards, and data visualisations to present real-time visibility on safety KPIs.
Languages: Fluent English (our working language) is required. Portuguese, French, Spanish, or Polish are a strong advantage given our market footprint.
Safety mindset & calm under pressure — when a safety incident happens, you are the person who stays level-headed, follows the protocol, and makes sure the right lessons are captured and actioned.
You lead and listen. Whether you're steering the ship or rowing alongside the crew, you bring others with you and keep communication wide open.
You own your stuff. You don't wait for instructions: you see an opportunity, grab it, and make it better than anyone expected.
You've got a green heartbeat. Sustainability isn't just cool, it's core. You care about doing work that leaves the world a little better than you found it.
You balance hustle with humanity. You love the buzz of in-person teamwork, but you also know when to recharge (pun totally intended ).
You grow on purpose. You're hungry to learn, to stretch, and to build something meaningful, not just rack up LinkedIn bullet points.
