Cloud System Engineer

Responsibilities

Implement and promote Cloud FinOps good practices in Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
Monitoring and optimize the cloud resources, by identifying waste, improvement opportunities, and cost anomalies.
Automate the gathering, analysis and treatment of data regarding the Cloud usage and cost.
Support the Architecture, Engineering and Operations Teams in the adoption afo eficient and sustainable architectures.
Identify and execute optimization iniciatives, including rightsizing, reserves, savings plans and cleaning of non utilized resources.
Contribute to the evolution of the company's FinOps strategy.
Produce technical analysis and recommendations for the continuous improvement of the Cloud platforms.
Act as the technical reference for eficiency, governance and optimization of multi-cloud environments.
Creation, maintenance, and revision of detailed technical documentation.

Skills

Degree in Computer Science or in similar areas.
5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of Agile methodology, Jira and Confluence.
Proven experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Experience in solution optimization in public cloud.
Proven knowledge of cloud cost management tools (ideally CloudHealth).
One of the following Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect ‒ Associate
- Associate Cloud Engineer
Certification FinOps Foundation (FinOps Certified Practitioner).
Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
Fluent in Spanish - written and spoken, is a a plus.
