As a Project Manager / Business Analyst (Insurance), you will work at the intersection of business, technology, and delivery, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of projects and ensuring alignment between stakeholders and IT teams.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment and contribute to projects that drive business transformation, operational efficiency, and strategic impact.
Job location: Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)
Contract type: Contractor B2B: 6-month project with possibility of extension
Target start date: ASAP
Working hours: Full-time (40h/week)
Compensation: Daily rate 250 to 350 euros / day

In this role, you will:
Own the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through delivery and closure
Engage directly with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and challenge requirements
Manage multiple projects (3–4 smaller initiatives or one major program)
Handle stakeholder management across all levels, including executive leadership
Prepare and deliver project updates and executive presentations
Manage timelines, risks, issues, and change requests
Act as the bridge between business teams and IT delivery
You will operate in a high-ownership environment with no separation between BA and PM responsibilities
You must balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
You will interact with senior stakeholders and challenge decisions when needed
You will manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and evolving environment
5–10+ years of experience combining Project Management and Business Analysis
Experience in IT / technology-driven projects
Strong insurance industry background, with the ability to understand and challenge business requirements
Proven experience delivering projects end-to-end independently
Strong communication and presentation skills at the executive level
Highly organised, structured, and results-oriented
Comfortable challenging and pushing back on senior stakeholders
Fluency in Portuguese and English
Must be a Portuguese or European citizen, or hold a valid work permit for Portugal
Previous experience combining PM and BA responsibilities in a single role
Experience working in lean teams with high ownership
Background evolving from Business Analyst to Project Manager within insurance
