Purpose
In the role of Accountant team lead, you will be responsible in leading a team of accoutant and will be responsible for all accounting related topics for entities
Under your perimeter (under IFRS and local GAAP) with a substantial involvement in tax and treasury.
Responsibilities
Daily tasks/ responsibilities.
Supervise a team of accountants in charge of a specific perimeter of entities
Ensure Group accounting policies are applied
Ensuring internal control procedures are applied (IcoFr framework);
Participate to the efficieny and continuoius improvement of processes and tools;
Monthly tasks/ responsibilities
Review and Perform monthly closing tasks
Review and Provide monthly package to our partners when applicable
Supervise the review of monthly package received from our partners when applicable
Quarterly tasks/ responsibilities.
Analyze Balance sheet at consolidation level, IFRS and Directional reporting
Participation in the contract analysis, and all related legal documents (Shareholders Agreement, service agreement and …)
Provide audit package and liaise with external auditors
Providing support to consolidation issues (e.g., blocking controls of packages, I/CO mismatches, unrelevant Jnls);
Ad hoc requests from Accounting Lead/Manager.
Prepare Tax package for Group in cooperation with Tax Manager
Liaise with partners to obtain accurate data when applicable.
Semi-Annual Annual tasks/ responsibilities.
Participation in the Tax reporting.
Prepare financial statements for entities under your scope including audit and filing.
Support partners with their financial statements.
Ad hoc audit missions if needed
Education
Finance & Accounting or Business School degree;
Experience
Experience (functions, duration): Minimum 7 yearsâ experience in a related environment or an audit firm
IT tools (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Power point), ERP
Audit process
Internal control
Knowledge IFRS 15 Revenue Recognition, IFRS 16 Leases and IAS 37 provision, contingent Liabilities and Assets and others
Statutory accounting and tax requirements in an international Environment
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally;
Well-developed stakeholder management skills;
Ability to work under pressure to meet specific deadlines, including in a turbulent/fast-moving environment;
Analytical skills and critical thinking;
A first management experience is a plus
