We are looking for a full-level QA Analyst with experience in test coordination to join the Testing Factory team.
Your mission:
The Testing Factory team is based in Porto, with hybrid remote work, and interacts with developers, business analysts and application support teams in Paris and Porto, across different business areas and tools.
The role requires working in an agile environment, in collaboration with other team members, to deliver the prioritized topics entrusted to the team.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers, developers and business analysts to understand product requirements;
Define test strategies, scopes and objectives for projects;
Create and review detailed test plans, including functional, regression, performance and security testing;
Define acceptance criteria and testing timelines;
Identify and document quality-related risks;
Manage and prioritize the test backlog, assigning tasks to the project team;
Supervise the execution of manual and automated test cases;
Ensure compliance with defined test strategies;
Monitor test progress and identify bottlenecks;
Facilitate communication between QA team members and other project areas;
Provide guidance and technical support to project team members;
Identify, document and report defects clearly and concisely in tracking tools;
Prioritize defects according to severity and business impact;
Track defect lifecycles and verify fixes;
Provide constructive feedback to the development team;
Actively participate in improving QA processes and testing methodologies;
Propose and implement new tools and techniques to optimize testing activities;
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the QA knowledge base;
Evaluate the effectiveness of test strategies and propose adjustments.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a QA Analyst, with at least 6 years of experience at full-level;
Solid experience in coordinating testing activities;
Strong knowledge of different types of software testing, including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, performance and security testing;
Experience creating and reviewing test plans, test cases and test scenarios;
Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools, such as Jira and Xray;
Familiarity with agile methodologies;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities;
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
