HEY THERE,
Welcome to tb.lx – we are building sustainable transportation solutions in a hybrid work setup. Join us—we are looking for you!
As a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, your work will be an integral part of our software development process. Your priority is to reduce the impact of development errors by catching issues early, ensuring features run smoothly and meet our partners’ needs. You will mainly work on quality strategy test automation and continuous improvement of testing practices.
You will actively participate in every stage of the application lifecycle. These stages include working closely with the team during refinements, product discovery, reviews, backlog grooming and design discussions, test automation using pair programming, and code review. In this role, you should also be aware of new product features we need to develop, and their impact on future versions, including risks, dependencies and potential edge cases.
In your day-to-day, you’ll be the bridge between product and development, ensuring any identified issues are reported with enough detail to support timely correction. You’ll also remove ambiguities by asking questions and creating examples that help teams align requirements, leveraging an ATDD mindset. It is also expected that you will create acceptance criteria for our features that will be part of the product documentation, used by the whole team, ensuring they are clear, testable, and aligned with business value. You will also use test automation tools to automate the acceptance criteria, ensuring they are integrated into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
-
At least 5 years of proven experience in software development and in software quality assurance;
-
Strong experience in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts that cover various use cases and scenarios, including end-to-end integration and integration strategies;
-
Experience with shift left testing and application during early phases;
-
Experience generating test data and test scenarios by providing examples (ATDD), ensuring coverage of real-world and edge-case scenarios;
-
Proficiency in Playwright and C#;
-
Deep knowledge about establishing and refining testing methodologies, to help with continuous improvement in testing processes and best practices, including test automation frameworks and quality metrics;
-
The ability and confidence to investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes, and provide detailed bug reports, including logs reproduction steps and impact assessment;
-
An analytical mindset that enables you to dissect complex systems and processes, giving you the natural ability to design test cases, execute test scripts, interpret test results, and provide valuable insights to the team, including identifying risks and gaps in coverage;
-
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong eye for detail;
-
Experience in guiding colleagues to always be aware of best practices for test development, and the ability to accompany and support on every phase of the development lifecycle;
-
A passion for mentoring engineers on how to write automated tests when possible, fostering a collaborative culture, and enabling the team to reach its full potential;
-
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…

You thrive working in a real hybrid work setting;
