Project description

We are looking for passionate and creative developers eager to craft innovative products and embrace new technologies. You will be part of a small, agile, and highly skilled team of technologists who are building next generation of solutions for Risk Management team and Portfolio Managers.

To thrive in our team, you should possess an independent mindset while enjoying a collaborative working environment. We value candidates with full software lifecycle experience, encompassing requirements gathering, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

Required qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of backend development experience, preferably within the hedge fund or financial services industry

Strong passion for backend architecture and application development, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement

Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Skills

Must have

C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, Entity Framework Core

Some exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript/Angular

Building and optimizing high-load, high-performance, data-driven backend systems

Designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP-based web services

Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)

Nice to have

Experience with Portfolio and Risk Management systems (e.g., What-If analysis, scenario modeling, real-time pricing)

Familiarity with financial instruments (equities, derivatives, fixed income, etc.)

Strong grasp of RDBMS concepts, data modeling, and database design

Practice of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and performance profiling across the stack
