As a Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using SQL, dbt, Python, Snowflake, GitLab, and Dagster, helping to shape our Data Mesh architecture and deliver scalable Analytical Data Products.
- Build and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines.
- Work closely with BI developers and analysts to translate business needs into robust data solutions.
- Design and implement data models optimized for analytics and reporting.
- Support data documentation, version control with GitLab, and CI/CD best practices.
- Monitor data workflows, maintain data quality, and troubleshoot issues.
- Improve query performance and enhance pipeline reliability and efficiency.
- Actively contribute to Agile team processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience building and maintaining data solutions in data engineering or analytics engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling for reporting and analytics.
- Experience with modern ETL/ELT workflows, including hands-on use of dbt.
- Proficiency in Python and cloud-based data platforms, ideally Snowflake.
- Working knowledge of Git/GitLab, version control practices, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Experience using data orchestration and data quality tools to ensure reliable data pipelines.
