Dev2Grow is looking for a Backend Developer (C#) to join our team and help design, build, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions. This role involves working on APIs, integrations, and business logic with high performance and reliability in mind, within an Agile environment.
We’re looking for someone passionate about clean architecture, well-structured code, and backend engineering excellence.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using C# and .NET.
Collaborate with frontend and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and system consistency.
Design and implement clean, scalable and testable backend architectures.
Integrate with external services, databases, and third-party APIs.
Write automated tests to ensure high-quality code and continuous delivery.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture discussions and performance tuning.
Requirements:
Solid experience with C# and .NET (Core or Framework) in production environments.
Experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (e.g. Entity Framework).
Knowledge of API development, security, authentication, and error handling.
Familiarity with unit testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Fluency in English.
Availability to work one day per week from our office in Setúbal – the remaining days are remote.
