The Opportunity
You will be part of a team responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions for enterprise applications within the Financial Services sector.
The project focuses on the design and operation of modern cloud infrastructures, leveraging Microsoft Azure, containerization, and Kubernetes, enabling continuous delivery and resilient architectures. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment, supporting the full application lifecycle - from infrastructure design to deployment and operations - ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
Your Role
As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will play a key role in automation, system reliability, and enabling development teams to deliver software efficiently. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams, contributing to architectural decisions and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy applications on Azure Cloud, leveraging Kubernetes and containerized solutions;
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (primarily using Azure DevOps);
Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and continuously improve cloud infrastructure;
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalable cloud environments;
Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to meet business requirements and SLAs;
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack (infrastructure, applications, network, and security);
Translate technical requirements into automated and scalable solutions;
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security;
Integrate DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines;
Contribute to architecture decisions and definition of best practices in Cloud and DevOps.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
2+ years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer;
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure;
Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker);
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps);
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., ARM, Terraform, or similar);
Solid knowledge of Linux environments and scripting (e.g., Bash);
Good understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems;
Ability to translate complex technical requirements into automated processes;
Experience troubleshooting issues related to networking, permissions, authentication, and cloud environments;
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Experience with other cloud providers (AWS, GCP, OCI);
Familiarity with additional CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, TravisCI);
Knowledge of cloud security best practices;
Experience with DevSecOps practices;
Experience managing virtual machines / compute resources;
Exposure to on-premises or hybrid environments;
Familiarity with bare-metal infrastructure;
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments;
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
