We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a dynamic international banking environment, supporting critical financial systems and business operations.
In this role, you will act as the key liaison between Business Units, Finance Teams, Back Office Operations, and IT teams, ensuring the smooth operation of accounting and financial reporting flows. You will play a vital role in production support, incident management, financial closing activities, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Business & User Support

Provide functional and technical support to business users, finance teams, and back-office operations.

Investigate, analyze, and resolve production issues and user requests.

Coordinate with multiple support teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding incidents, changes, and solutions.
Production Monitoring & Incident Management

Monitor application and business process performance.
-
Track incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up until resolution.

Prepare incident reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.

Identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Operations Support
-
Monitor accounting and financial transactions.

Analyze rejected accounting entries and investigate root causes.

Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities.

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial processing workflows.
System Administration & Maintenance
-
Manage business rules and configuration settings.

Maintain data dictionaries and reference data.
-
Support accounting and non-accounting workflow configurations.

Collaborate closely with central IT teams to maintain system stability and operational efficiency.
Business Analysis & Operations
-
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role.

Experience supporting business-critical applications and operational processes.

Strong understanding of incident management and production support activities.
Mainframe Technologies
-
Strong knowledge of:

COBOL

JCL
-
Experience working in Mainframe environments.
Microsoft Office Suite

Advanced proficiency in:

Ability to create reports, dashboards, presentations, and business documentation.
Financial & Banking Operations

Experience supporting finance, accounting, or banking processes is highly valued.
