We are looking for a Senior Front Developer
CONTEXT
We are looking for a Senior Front Developer to join the eTrading FX Team within the CIB business unit.
This role is integrated in a high-impact environment focused on the development and maintenance of front-end applications that support business-critical activities in the financial sector. You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions, while also contributing to code quality, best practices, and team mentoring.
MAIN MISSION
To design, develop, and maintain high-quality front-end applications, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and reliability, while contributing to technical excellence and supporting the growth of other developers in the team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain front-end web applications
- Build efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, proposing effective solutions
- Contribute to code quality, organization, and development best practices
- Collaborate in an Agile environment with a strong craftsmanship mindset
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level developers
- Work closely with the team in the continuous improvement of technical solutions
PROFILE & SKILLS
- Senior experience in Frontend Development
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals and front-end development best practices
- Ability to work in complex and demanding technical environments
- Experience mentoring or coaching other developers
- Agile mindset with strong ownership and attention to code quality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Investment Banking is a strong plus
- Fluency in English (minimum B2)
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Angular, React or Vue.js
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- SOLID principles
- WebSockets
- Git
- Jira
- DevOps tools such as XL Deploy and XL Release
- C# is a plus
- MongoDB or other non-relational databases are a plus
