Job Responsibilities & Expectations
Reviewing infrastructure and tooling configurations to ensure that security posture is established, maintained, and continued throughout the Software Development LifeCycle.
Ability to identify internal infrastructure that is susceptible to known vulnerabilities along with being able to create solutions and lead programs to remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
Developing systems that automatically respond and remediate known security vulnerabilities or insecure configurations.
Developing and creating systems that integrate into Security Operation Center and Individual and Account Management Tools.
Reviewing, auditing, and helping assist in writing compliance policies, along with remediating identified compliance gaps.
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong communication, coordination, and collaboration skills in worldwide remote settings across the business to drive respective outcomes for the team.
4–6+ years of experience
Cloud Security & Infrastructure
Experience with endpoint security, IDS/IDP, AV/AM, Firewall, and Integrity Monitoring systems.
Experience with Kubernetes environments, monitoring, and security best practices. CKA and CKS preferred.
Preferred experience with securing Cloud Infrastructure and assets in an enterprise level product.
Experience or desire to work directly with Security incidents, Security Teams, and Security Researchers.
Cloud resource security, cloud configuration hardening, and cloud-native security architecture.
Container and cloud-native security best practices.
Cloud networking, security groups, NACLs, VPC design, and API security.
Cloud identity and access management (IAM) policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and privilege escalation prevention.
Secrets management and credential security in cloud environments.
Cloud Platforms & Services
Experience in the following cloud providers: Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with AWS Security Services such as GuardDuty and Security Hub; Networking services such as Firewall Manager and Web Application Firewalls; and IAM, Lambda Functions, CloudFormation services preferred.
Azure security services including Microsoft Defender, Azure Policy, and identity management preferred.
Cloud Development & Automation
Development experience in languages such as: Go or Python.
Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud service integrations.
Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for cloud security: Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or ARM templates.
Cloud security automation, orchestration, and compliance-as-code.
Experience building security tools and systems for automated cloud misconfiguration detection and remediation.
Cloud logging, monitoring, and alerting (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, CloudTrail).
AI & Emerging Technologies
Agentic AI Experience : Designing and implementing autonomous AI agents for security workflows, understanding agent lifecycle management, integration of AI agents into security operations and incident response.
AI Security & Safety : Expertise in securing AI systems, adversarial testing, prompt injection defense, AI model security, and securing machine learning supply chains.
Vibe Coding / Intuitive Development : Ability to write clean, maintainable security code with flow-state development practices; creative problem-solving in security implementation.
Additional Qualifications
Cloud cost optimization and security trade-offs (cost-aware security implementations).
Familiarity with cloud-specific compliance frameworks (AWS Well-Architected Framework, Azure Well-Architected Framework, CIS Benchmarks, cloud FedRAMP/HIPAA).
Cloud data security and encryption at rest and in transit.
Multi-cloud and hybrid cloud security architecture.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead junior cloud security engineers.
Experience with cloud security assessment and cloud posture management tools. Experience with Wiz preferred.
Understanding of serverless security and function-as-a-service (FaaS) security considerations.
