We are looking for a Senior Dynatrace Observability Specialist to join a Monitoring and AIOps team within a large-scale international insurance environment.
You will design, implement and manage end-to-end observability solutions for applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms and distributed systems. Using Dynatrace and modern automation technologies, you will help improve performance, reliability and proactive incident detection across on-premises and cloud workloads.
The position includes observability assessment, platform onboarding, configuration, alerting, dashboard creation, automation and lifecycle management.
Observability Assessment

Analyse business applications, products, platforms and infrastructure to identify monitoring and observability requirements.
- Assess existing monitoring capabilities and identify visibility gaps.
- Define observability strategies aligned with architecture, security and operational standards.
- Design scalable monitoring approaches for on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
- Recommend improvements to application performance, reliability and proactive incident detection.
Dynatrace Onboarding and Configuration

Design and implement Dynatrace onboarding for applications, platforms, infrastructure and cloud services.
- Configure metrics, traces, logs, dashboards, KPIs and alerting.
- Manage the lifecycle of Dynatrace observability configurations.
- Integrate multiple technical systems into a consistent end-to-end monitoring view.
- Configure data ingestion and management through Dynatrace Grail.
- Implement and maintain Dynatrace OpenPipeline solutions.
- Apply configuration-as-code practices using Monaco and/or Terraform.
Monitoring, Automation and AIOps

Create actionable alerts, dashboards, KPIs and operational metrics.
- Contribute to global end-to-end observability views used by Network Operations Centres and Global Operations Control teams.
- Develop workflows and automation to support proactive incident management.
- Use Dynatrace DQL to query, analyse and correlate observability data.
- Configure and manage Dynatrace Workflows and Guardians.
- Apply Dynatrace Automation and AIOps capabilities.
- Support integrations based on OpenTelemetry and OpenLLMetry.
- Use JavaScript to implement scripts, workflows and automation logic.
- Help technical and operational teams investigate incidents and identify root causes.

At least six years of professional experience in monitoring, observability, AIOps, application performance management or related areas.
- Proven hands-on expertise with Dynatrace SaaS and/or Dynatrace Managed.
- Dynatrace certification.
- Strong experience monitoring Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments.
- Practical experience with Dynatrace Grail ingestion and data management.
- Experience with Dynatrace OpenPipeline.
- Advanced knowledge of Dynatrace Query Language — DQL.
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace Workflows and Guardians.
- Experience with Dynatrace automation and AIOps features.
- Knowledge of OpenTelemetry.
- Experience implementing Dynatrace configuration as code using Monaco and/or Terraform.
- JavaScript scripting skills.
- Strong understanding of Azure and/or AWS cloud architecture.
- Ability to design observability solutions for complex and distributed architectures.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Availability to work from the Moscavide office twice per week.

- Observability experience in insurance, banking or another regulated industry.
- Experience monitoring hybrid environments that combine on-premises and cloud workloads.
- Knowledge of proactive incident management and root cause analysis.

- Strong understanding of logs, metrics, traces and distributed tracing.
- Experience integrating multiple platforms into unified observability views.
The ideal candidate is a senior observability specialist with advanced hands-on experience using Dynatrace in complex enterprise environments. You can assess monitoring requirements, design onboarding strategies and implement complete observability solutions covering applications, infrastructure and cloud services.
You understand how to transform metrics, traces and logs into actionable alerts and operational insights. You are also comfortable working with cloud architecture, automation, configuration as code and distributed systems while collaborating with architecture, security, engineering and operations teams.
