We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer (AI) to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of scalable, AI-powered software solutions.
Working in an international and collaborative environment, you will design, develop, and evolve backend services, AI-driven workflows, and conversational solutions that support innovative SaaS products. This role combines modern backend engineering with Artificial Intelligence, giving you the opportunity to work with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, cloud technologies, and scalable software architectures.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and AI-powered solutions.
- Develop conversational and AI-driven workflows, including low-code implementations when appropriate.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with external systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, secure, and scalable code.
- Create and execute unit tests to ensure software quality.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Review, refactor, and improve existing source code.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams using Agile methodologies.
- Contribute to software architecture and continuously improve product quality, performance, and security.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, including Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Communication Protocols, and Knowledge Bases.
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, or conversational AI solutions.
- Professional experience with C#, or strong experience with Python or JavaScript.
- Experience developing AI-driven or conversational applications.
- Experience integrating REST APIs.
- Knowledge of JSON, XML, and gRPC.
- Experience with unit testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
