Managing the implementation and delivery of a comprehensive range of PMO and Project Controls Services to support commissions and provide line management leadership and guidance for others disciplines within the PMO and Planning Centre of Excellence and the wider business (e.g. other Hubs, international business and other Centres of Excellence) as required.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Championing safety first, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, programme, cost, sustainability and compliance while fostering an inclusive, people-focused culture.
- Managing PMO and Project Controls delivery, providing strategic direction across cost, schedule, risk, change and performance reporting.
- Building trusted client and industry relationships, driving best-in-class outcomes and promoting Mace’s expertise and reputation.
- Developing high-performing teams through mentoring, knowledge sharing, talent development and innovation, creating opportunities for people to excel.
- Developing and implementing robust control frameworks, providing strategic oversight and expert guidance to clients and project teams.
- Ensuring compliant, sustainable delivery by embedding best practice, innovation and net zero objectives.
You’ll need to have:
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes.
- Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
- Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
