Your mission will be…
Ensure the effective implementation of the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) strategy by maintaining legal compliance, preventing risks, protecting the environment, and promoting our culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Implement and monitor Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with internal procedures and corporate EHS policies.

Conduct risk assessments and identify improvement opportunities to prevent accidents and incidents.

Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses, defining and tracking corrective and preventive actions.

Promote a strong safety culture through training, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement initiatives.

Perform identification of hazards and risk evaluation, identification of environmental aspect and environmental impacts.
-
Perform safety audits, inspections, and environmental assessments, ensuring the implementation of resulting action plans.

Monitor EHS performance indicators( KPi’s - Key Performance indicators).

Support continuous improvement projects related to occupational safety, ergonomics, and environmental protection.

Ensure the management of waste, emissions, and other environmental aspects in accordance with legal requirements and company standards.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate EHS and sustainability requirements into operational processes.

Prepare for and support internal, external, and certification audits (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or similar).

Manage emergency situations by participating in the development, implementation, and testing of emergency response plans.
We are looking for someone with…
-
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Certified Occupational Safety Technician (CAP/Professional Certification) is preferred or required, depending on the role requirements.

Professional experience in EHS roles within industrial or logistics environments, preferred if waste management experience.

Knowledge of Portuguese Environmental, Health & Safety legislation.

Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Strong communication, influencing, and teamwork skills.

Dynamic, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.

Good command of English and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
