You will join a strategic enterprise project focused on developing and modernising complex business applications. The position combines hands-on full-stack development with technical leadership, architecture guidance, project coordination, security monitoring, and obsolescence management.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, messaging systems, Oracle databases, Angular, system integration, and cloud technologies.

Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade applications.
- Coordinate technical projects and collaborate with project owners and IT stakeholders.
- Develop backend solutions using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Build and maintain frontend applications using Angular.
- Design scalable system architectures and integration solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical supervision.
- Refactor legacy code and improve application maintainability.
- Apply clean architecture and software engineering best practices.
- Implement automated testing and maintain high code-quality standards.
- Work with messaging systems and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Develop and optimise database solutions using Oracle and SQL.
- Monitor application security, technical risks, and technology obsolescence.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Java, preferably Java 17 or higher.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Proven experience designing and building enterprise-grade systems.
- Strong experience with Angular.
- Solid knowledge of messaging systems and asynchronous architectures.
- Experience working with Oracle databases and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of system design and application integration.
- Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-based architectures.
- Proven ability to provide architectural advice and technical supervision.
- Experience with code refactoring and application modernisation.
- Strong understanding of clean architecture and code-quality practices.
- Experience implementing automated tests.
- Knowledge of application security and technology obsolescence management.
- English proficiency at C1 level.
- Availability to work from Lisbon according to the project’s working model.
