Job Summary
We are looking for an Environment, Health & Safety Specialist to strengthen its QEHS department.
Responsibilities:
The EH&S Specialist is accountable for:
- Ensuring the factory's compliance with Environment, Health and Safety legislation and licensing requirements.
- Coordinating the employee health surveillance programme and occupational health reporting.
- Implementing and monitoring occupational risk prevention plans and safety training.
- Investigating accidents and incidents and defining and following up corrective actions.
- Providing accurate EH&S reports and indicators to Management.
- Supporting internal and external audits across all three EH&S dimensions.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Qualification as a Higher Occupational Safety Technician, with a valid CAP certification.
- 3 to 6 years' experience in a similar role within an industrial environment.
- Sound knowledge of national legislation applicable to Environment, Health and Safety at Work.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English, with the ability to communicate technically with the international group.
- Technical rigour, analytical ability and autonomy in managing priorities.
