Overview
We are looking for a proactive, ambitious, and results-driven Sales & Business Development Representative to join our international commercial team in Porto.
This is a fast-paced, 100% in-office role focused on generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and relationship building. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, researching decision-makers, executing personalized email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns, maintaining our prospect database, and supporting the sales team in building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Our company provides international consulting services, market intelligence, research reports, conferences, and seminars to organizations worldwide. We do not serve the Portuguese market—all clients are international, and all communication is conducted entirely in English.

Key ResponsibilitiesOutbound Prospecting
- Identify new business opportunities across international markets.
- Research companies and identify key decision-makers.
- Build and continuously expand a high-quality prospect database.
- Create and maintain an organized contact universe for ongoing business development.
Sales Outreach
- Execute outbound email and LinkedIn campaigns.
- Use AI tools to create personalized and effective sales communications.
- Follow up consistently with prospects via email, LinkedIn, and occasional phone calls.
- Build relationships with prospective clients and identify potential business opportunities.
- Qualify leads and coordinate meetings with the sales team.
- Support colleagues throughout the sales process to help convert opportunities into clients.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate CRM records for all prospects and activities.
- Track outreach performance and ensure timely follow-up.
- Keep sales pipelines organized and up to date.
- Contribute to lead generation reporting and pipeline management.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with sales and marketing colleagues to improve prospecting strategies.
- Share market insights and feedback gathered from prospect interactions.
- Contribute ideas to improve outreach campaigns, lead generation, and sales processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Lead Generation, Inside Sales, or a similar commercial role is preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Hunter mindset with a proactive approach to prospecting and generating new business opportunities.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to write professional and engaging business emails.
- Comfortable using LinkedIn as a business development tool.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, or similar) or willing to learn quickly.
Nice to Have
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
- Experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT) to improve sales productivity and business communications.
- Previous experience in international B2B sales.
- Experience in consulting, market research, events, or professional services.
