About Us
Momo Cotton is a premium DTC bamboo bed linen and bath towel brand, selling across Portugal, Spain, France, and Italy, with the UK and US on the horizon. We're a real startup: small team, growing fast, and we all get our hands dirty. If you join us, expect to learn an enormous amount in a short time, take on real responsibility from day one, and get comfortable with a bit of healthy chaos. We're not a corporate machine with everything figured out. We're building the plane while flying it, and we're looking for someone who thrives in that environment rather than being thrown off by it.
The Role
We're looking for a Customer Service & Operations Junior Manager to join us as our operations backbone grows. You'll work closely with our founders and cover a wide scope, including:
- Customer Service: managing customer inquiries (only written), returns, and claims according to our CS policy; being the voice of Momo Cotton to our customers across markets
- Operations & Logistics: coordinating with our 3PL partners on order fulfillment, stock transfers, and delivery issues; helping monitor and resolve delayed orders, stockouts, and fulfillment incidents
- Supplier & Contract Support: supporting supplier communication, purchase order follow-up, and contract and logistics coordination
- Cross-functional problem solving: jumping between very operational, hands-on tasks and more strategic thinking, often within the same day
This is not a role with a fixed, narrow job description. Priorities shift as the business grows, so you'll need to be excellent at figuring out what matters most, right now, and acting on it independently.
What We're Looking For
- You have not done a professional internship (estágio profissional) before. This role is aimed at candidates who haven't yet used this specific type of internship, though prior work or other internship experience is a plus.
- Fluent English is mandatory. You'll be communicating with customers, suppliers, and partners across multiple countries.
- A second European language is highly preferred (Portuguese, Spanish, French, or Italian).
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and chaos. We're a small, growing team where things change fast, and you'll need to stay calm, organized, and solution-oriented in the middle of it.
- Fast, autonomous, and hands-on. We need someone who can pick up operational tasks immediately without heavy hand-holding.
- Strong prioritization skills. You'll often have several urgent things competing for your attention and need to know what to tackle first.
- A team player who gets along well with others. We're a small crew and we lean on each other.
What You'll Get
- Real, high-ownership responsibility from day one, not a "coffee-fetching" internship
- Direct exposure to how a fast-growing DTC brand actually operates, across CS, operations, logistics, and supplier management
- A close-knit team that supports each other through the chaos of growth
- Strong potential to convert into a permanent role after the internship, for the right person
- You will work directly with the founders
