YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Senior AI Technical Manager to strengthen Capgemini Portugal's Data & AI team. This professional will be responsible for technically leading the development and delivery of AI solutions, shaping and evolving our AI offering and acting as a trusted technical advisor for both clients and internal stakeholders. The role combines hands-on architecture leadership, delivery oversight and contribution to commercial initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with business outcomes.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Lead end-to-end AI initiatives (predictive/prescriptive AI and GenAI) from ideation to production;
Define solution architectures and engineering standarts (MLOps/LLMOps, monitoring, CI/CD, scalability, security);
Guide delivery teams through technical challenges, ensuring quality, performance and cost efficiency;
Support go-to-market and pre-sales: workshops, solutioning, proposals/RFPs, estimates, and technical storytelling;
Build reusable assets/accelerators and promote best practices and mentoring across the community;
Collaborate with hyperscalers and partners (Azure, AWS, GCP) leveraging services such as Azure ML, SageMaker, Vertex AI.

In this role you will be responsible for:

YOUR PROFILE

5+ years of experience in AI projects with strong technical leadership (architecture/tech lead roles);
Deep knowledge of predictive and prescriptive AI, GenAI patterns (e.g., RAG/agents), and LLMOps/MLOps;
Strong understanding of modern Data Platforms (lakehouse/warehouse), data pipelines, and cloud integration;
Solid Responsible AI foundation (privacy, fairness, transparency, governance, risk management);
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; structured problem solving and ownership mindset;
Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
