Job Purpose
The Operations Director is responsible for maximising the efficiency of our business centres, so we deliver fantastic customer service. Our processes should be continually re-engineered to make them simpler for our customers and staff so we can add new centres quicker and more cost effectively. This person will be a highly organised, creative problem solver who is commercial, continually thinks of the customer and successfully completes projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Management
- Lead NCO kick-off activities and support the operational integration of roll-ins.
- Oversee Performance Management throughout the full duration of the Management contract.
- Projects & Change Initiatives
- Drive special projects, including current cost-saving initiatives (e.g. FTE optimization, cleaning and maintenance).
- Support and lead additional transformation and change initiatives as required.
- Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage vendor tenders and contracts not handled by Central Procurement.
- Support negotiations and ensure commercial effectiveness at local level.
- Business Process Facilitation
- Act as a local point of contact for business process issues, including billing, payments, collections, and related operational topics.
Required Qualifications, Experience, Behaviours
- Mixed profile combining commercial experience (e.g. account management) with process and project management exposure.
- Experience in leadership or coordination role, even within a small team.
- Strong negotiation skills and solid business intuition.
- Financial awareness and comfort working with numbers.
- Pragmatic mindset with strong common sense and problem-solving ability.
- Consistently delivered results, above expectations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence in a matrix environment.
- Confident decisionmaker who demonstrates sound judgement.
