We are looking for a Senior QA Tester Engineer to join our team and support the quality and reliability of a cross-media measurement platform developed in partnership with industry leaders such as Google, Meta, TikTok, and Amazon. This role focuses on test automation, API testing, and data validation within a modern API-first and cloud-native architecture. The engineer will work closely with development teams to ensure platform reliability and embed quality into the CI/CD pipeline.

Tech Stack
- Languages & Frameworks: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, NestJS
- Automation & Testing: Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer, Supertest, API testing, Test automation frameworks
- Data & Databases: SQL, data validation, analytics pipelines
- Cloud & DevOps: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Cloud Build)
- Other / Nice to Have: Generative AI tools for testing, API-first architectures, Microservices
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to ensure strong regression coverage
- Implement API-level testing (contract, integration, and component testing) for microservices and service layers
- Develop automated checks to validate complex data pipelines and ensure the accuracy of measurement outputs
- Maintain and improve the automation ecosystem using tools such as Playwright, Supertest (NestJS), and GCP Cloud Build
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate testing into the development lifecycle and CI/CD workflows
- Monitor and improve quality metrics such as test stability, execution time, and coverage
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with test automation frameworks for web applications and distributed systems
- Solid experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer, or similar testing tools
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Good knowledge of SQL and experience validating data-driven platforms
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with containerized environments
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud environments
- Experience testing data pipelines or analytics platforms
- Exposure to Generative AI tools for test generation or synthetic data creation
- Experience contributing to open-source projects or familiarity with WFA standards
- Duration: Long Term Contract.
- Portugal (hybrid model). We have offices in the main cities of the country. Candidates must be living in Portugal.
