The opportunity
This QA Engineer will sit within our Riparian team and is responsible for designing and executing complex test scenarios to ensure software quality and performance while utilizing their technical skills to automate testing processes. They collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in the testing framework.

- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills and can clearly capture issues using bug tracking software.
- Expand the current suite of manual test cases
- Ability to manage time effectively and learn quickly
- Working on multiple projects and prioritize the tasks appropriately
- Coordinating with the offshore team
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies
- Have a strong bias for understanding the applications you test, identifying issues and digging in deeper to gain a better understanding
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify testing requirements for new features, and provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Ability to effectively work with engineering to ensure on-time product delivery
- Maintain results-oriented, product-focused approach with excellent attention to detail and quality
Do you have what we are looking for?
- Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Computer Science or related computer/engineering field, or equivalent.
- 3-5 years' of demonstrated experience in software development or software testing and quality assurance (QA) activities
- Proficiency in web-based software testing
- Well-versed in all testing methodologies (black box, system, functional, exploratory and automated testing)
- Proficiency in writing and maintaining test plans and test cases
- An ability to work independently, and consider outside of the box and edge test cases
- Ability to be highly collaborative in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience writing clear, concise and comprehensive bug reports
- Experience with at least one Test automation framework (Playwright/Cypress/Selenium, etc.)
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
- Strong analytical skills, strong judgment and ability to understand complex business problems quickly
- Experience with SQL. Familiarity with MongoDB is a plus.
- Experience using command line tools, chrome developer tools
- Experience using JIRA, GITHUB or similar version control & bug tracking tools
- Experience in working with build tools such as AWS, Jenkins, etc.
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies based on business needs
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
