Junior Data Engineer
Responsibilities
Support the development, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines and data integration processes
Collect, transform, and validate structured and unstructured data from different sources
Assist in designing and maintaining scalable data solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and support data-driven initiatives
Help ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across different systems
Support the development of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
Contribute to documenting data processes, workflows, and technical solutions
Learn and work with modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and data engineering tools
Skills
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Knowledge of SQL and Python through academic projects, internships, personal projects, or training
Basic understanding of data engineering and data analytics concepts
Familiarity with Databricks, cloud platforms, or data processing tools is a plus
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical tasks with guidance
Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
Fluent in English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
