We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our technology team. This role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing mission-critical infrastructure environments that support business applications and services. The successful candidate will work closely with software development teams, drive infrastructure automation initiatives, and contribute to the organization's technology roadmap.
- Provide infrastructure expertise and technical support to software development teams.
- Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based production environments.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across distributed environments.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize operating system performance, particularly for low-latency applications.
- Support virtualization and container-based platforms.
- Participate in server deployments, data center build-outs, infrastructure upgrades, and operating system migrations.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python, Shell, or similar technologies.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, security, and performance of production infrastructure.
- Research emerging technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations and contributing to the company's technology roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes and infrastructure standards.
- Hands-on experience with Linux system administration, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and/or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) .
- Strong understanding of operating system performance tuning for low-latency applications.
- Experience with virtualization and container technologies.
- Experience supporting server hardware, data center deployments, and operating system migrations.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python , Shell scripting, or similar languages.
- Proven track record of supporting mission-critical server infrastructure in production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly available production environment.
