Your Role
We're looking for a Quality Management Systems Trainee to join the Quality Team XRX in Lisbon — someone who brings structure, curiosity, and a genuine drive to figure things out.
The role focuses on assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Document Management System (DMS) in compliance with ISO 13485 standards. The trainee will contribute to generating controlled documentation, execution support, process progress monitoring, and support the Global XRX Team in Global Quality initiatives.
Beyond core QMS work, the trainee will also be exposed to data analytics tasks, helping translate quality data into meaningful insights that support decision-making and process improvement.
Working within an international environment, the trainee will collaborate with the quality team to streamline processes, improve system reliability, and support document management. The trainee will take part in organizing and conducting internal audits, as well as preparing quality reports for management review, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and audit findings.
The position offers hands-on experience with ISO 13485 in a regulated environment, exposure to QMS and DMS strategies, data analytics, and global collaboration. Additional QMS/DMS project initiatives may be developed over time, and the trainee will have the opportunity to contribute to new solutions aligned with the organization's roadmap.
Day-to-day, you'll be involved in:
Support in coordinating and developing the QMS
Assistance in DMS, documents and records generation and maintenance
Global project process monitoring and reporting
Audit preparation and assistance
Data analytics support
Jumping into new initiatives with enthusiasm when the opportunity arises

Background:
Bachelor or Master student in: Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Science / Analytics, Quality or Operations Management, or a related field
Hybrid profiles combining business thinking with analytical or technical skills are especially valued
Academic or project-based experience in Quality Management, Project Management, Administration, or working within regulations and guidelines in a medical technology or technical environment
Experience with university or personal quality management / document management projects is considered valuable
