Job Description
As a Senior Strategic Buyer for Electronics, you will drive the global sourcing strategy for electronic components and assemblies across both series product portfolio and new projects. You will play a key role in cost optimization initiatives, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a resilient and competitive supply chain.
Your contribution to something big:

Lead the strategic procurement of electronic components and assemblies for series production and new product initiatives, including identifying and executing cost-optimization opportunities.

Ensure the achievement of commercial and performance targets for your assigned commodity portfolio.

Manage global supplier relationships, including supplier development, qualification, and onboarding of new suppliers.

Develop material-field specific sourcing strategies, conduct supply agreements and lead negotiations on an international scale.

Act as a key interface with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing to continuously optimize and strategically advance your components and assemblies.

Secure sustainable global supply chain stability and mitigate actively risks for your commodity portfolio.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education:
-
Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
Experience & Expertise:
-
3–5 years of professional experience in strategic procurement within the electronics sector (B2B environment).

Several years of experience within an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) company, with a proven track record of measurable achievements.

Strong understanding of procurement processes, cost-optimization methods, and supplier management best practices.

Deep expertise in the electronics market, including market dynamics, supplier landscapes, and technology and industry trends that influence sourcing and material strategies.
Personal Qualities:

Exceptional negotiation skills, strong cost awareness, entrepreneurial thinking, team orientation, intercultural competence, and excellent communication skills.

High level of initiative and the ability to drive topics independently.
Languages:

Fluent in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
