We are looking for a Business Analyst
CONTEXT
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our CIB team in Porto.
This role will support the evolution of applications related to counterparty rating and LGD calculation, playing a key role in the analysis of business requirements, functional documentation, testing, and user support. The professional will work closely with internal stakeholders and users, ensuring that business needs are properly translated into system improvements and functional solutions.
This opportunity is particularly suited to candidates with a background in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Banking, or previous experience in IT projects within financial institutions.
MAIN MISSION
To contribute to the evolution of business applications related to rating and risk processes by gathering and analyzing requirements, producing functional specifications, supporting testing activities, and acting as a key link between users and IT teams.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and analyze user requirements, translating business needs into functional specifications
- Participate in the evolution and continuous improvement of applications related to rating and LGD calculation
- Define and execute test cases to ensure quality and business alignment of delivered solutions
- Design, document, and maintain system processes and functional documentation
- Provide first-line functional support to users, helping resolve issues and clarify system behavior
- Develop strong relationships with internal clients and stakeholders
- Apply best practices in communication, problem-solving, and functional analysis
- Work in an Agile environment using Scrum methodology
PROFILE & SKILLS
- + 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in IT projects within financial institutions
- Academic or professional background in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Banking, or a related area
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding environment
- Autonomous, structured, and proactive mindset
- Client-oriented approach with strong sense of ownership
- Good organizational skills and willingness to learn
- Fluent English is mandatory
- French is a plus
