The Project Controls Engineer plays a critical role in the monitoring and control of large-scale projects and capital investments. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting project data to support informed decision-making. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Controls Engineer maintains an integrated view of the project and contributes to the successful delivery of project objectives within schedule, budget, and scope.
- Act as a key member of the project team, providing guidance and support to the Project Manager in all project controls and monitoring activities.

Understand the technical aspects and interdependencies of the project and translate them into an integrated project schedule.

Lead and manage the project planning and control process throughout the project lifecycle.

Prepare forecasts, management reports, and performance analyses to support project governance and decision-making.

Conduct specialized project control analyses, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and risk analysis.

Monitor and analyze project performance related to schedule, cost, scope, and risk.

Advise the Project Manager and project team on potential claims, variations, change requests, and contractual impacts.

Provide accurate and timely project information to support strategic and operational decisions.

Utilize and maintain project management software tools, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of project planning and project controls methodologies.

Experience or strong interest in project management and project performance monitoring.

Proficiency in project management software, particularly Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Ability to analyze complex project data and produce meaningful management reports.

Knowledge of cost control, risk management, and Earned Value Management methodologies is considered an asset.
