Obras Algarve Sotavento department is looking for a Electrical Distribution Operations Engineer.
What you will do:
- Integration into the Works Unit, collaborating in the construction of Low Voltage (LV), Public Lighting (PL) and Medium Voltage (MV) assets, ensuring the preparation, monitoring and closure of interventions.
- Support for budgeting, awarding, commissioning and closure processes for works — SIT/JUMP/Mobility — as well as on-site monitoring;
- Document analysis and preparation of LV, PL and MV Line Projects, ensuring project licensing and compliance with E-REDES technical standards and internal procedures;
- Supervision of the implementation of new Medium Voltage remote-control points (TCMT);
- Identification and proposal of new network developments and investments in Medium Voltage, Low Voltage and Public Lighting;
- Handling and monitoring of Grid Connection Requests (PLR) in LV and MV, ensuring compliance with deadlines and following the process from the initial stage through to closure;
- Support for the operational management of the activity, including:
- Updating statuses and information in internal systems;
- Support for process handling;
- Compilation of data for operational dashboards and calculation of operational performance indicators;
- Preparation of supporting information for follow-up meetings.
- Responding to requests and complaints from customers, external entities or internal areas, ensuring a swift, well-founded approach aligned with current procedures;
- Ongoing coordination with service providers and other areas involved, contributing to process fluidity, deadline compliance and information quality;
- Ensuring that safety procedures are consistently complied with, both by the internal team and by partners, by carrying out periodic site visits/inspections of works.

What are we looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or, preferably, a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, ideally with a specialization in the Energy field;
- Up to 5 years' experience (professional activity in Electrical Engineering);
- Strong ability to work within a team and good interpersonal skills;
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and resilience are highly valued skills;
- Good computer skills (Windows) and proficiency in Office tools, particularly Outlook, Excel, Power BI, and Power Apps;
- Fluency in Portuguese and solid knowledge of English;
