You will join a mature Test Centre that provides structured testing services based on proven methodologies and quality standards.
The team supports projects in areas such as savings, protection, banking, and life insurance, covering test design, execution, defect management, and release validation across business-critical applications.
You will work closely with Business Analysts, Test Leads, developers, and project stakeholders to ensure that requirements are correctly validated and that testing evidence supports informed Go/No-Go decisions.
Test Design and Planning

Contribute to the design of functional and business tests.
- Analyze project requirements, specifications, and deliverables.
- Define test scenarios, test cases, test data, and expected results.
- Build and maintain test schedules for the assigned scope.
- Register test topics and cases in the designated test-management tool.
- Ensure that testing deliverables are prepared, validated, and communicated.
- Prioritize tests according to business impact, project risk, and deadlines.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing and testing best practices.
Test Execution

Execute functional and business tests within the assigned scope.
- Record test results and supporting evidence in the appropriate tools.
- Compare actual results against expected outcomes.
- Communicate progress to the Test Lead and direct management.
- Identify and report risks related to quality, scope, or delivery dates.
- Provide the testing information required to support Go/No-Go decisions.
Defect Management

Identify, document, and track defects and anomalies.
- Register anomalies in the appropriate management tool.
- Provide clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
- Contribute to defect prioritization according to severity and business impact.
- Collaborate with development and project teams during defect investigation.
- Retest corrections and perform the required regression validation.
- Provide information for final test reports, procedures, and lessons learned.
Quality Standards

Apply the testing procedures and methodologies established by the department.
- Follow project standards, governance practices, and quality guidelines.
- Participate in workshops relating to testing processes and service culture.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software-testing activities.
- Knowledge of test methodology, principles, processes, and terminology.
- Understanding of ISTQB testing principles and vocabulary.
- Experience designing and executing functional test cases.
- Ability to build and manage a test schedule.
- Experience documenting test results and evidence.
- Experience identifying, reporting, and monitoring defects.
- Ability to prioritize testing activities and project anomalies.
- Experience identifying and following up on testing risks.
- Ability to provide information supporting Go/No-Go decisions.
- Strong analytical, critical, systematic, and logical thinking.
- Ability to summarize complex information clearly.
- Good coordination, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Professional proficiency in French.
- Availability to travel outside Portugal.
- Flexibility to work outside regular office hours in exceptional circumstances.

Five or more years of professional testing experience.
- Experience testing banking, savings, protection, or life-insurance products.
- Knowledge of applications such as ORION, HERA, Wynsure, or GLIS.
- Experience with OpenText ALM Octane.
- Practical knowledge of SQL for database and data validation.
- Knowledge of API testing.
- Knowledge of SAS.
- Experience with Control-M or another workload-scheduling tool.
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience in a Test Centre or testing center of excellence.
- Knowledge of regression, integration, end-to-end, and user-acceptance testing.
- Experience working in international or multicultural environments.
- Strong customer-service and quality-oriented mindset.
The ideal candidate is a structured and quality-focused Test Analyst with at least three years of experience designing, executing, and documenting functional tests.
You understand testing methodologies and ISTQB principles, can create test schedules, prioritize cases, identify risks, manage defects, and provide reliable evidence for Go/No-Go decisions.
You communicate professionally in French and collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Test Leads, developers, and project stakeholders. Experience with banking or life-insurance applications, Octane, SQL, APIs, SAS, or Control-M will be particularly valuable.
