We are looking for a QA Functional Tester to join an exciting project in the Energy sector.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys ensuring the quality of digital solutions, analysing requirements, identifying risks, and collaborating with both technical and functional teams. The successful candidate will actively participate throughout the testing lifecycle, from designing test scenarios to investigating defects and monitoring quality indicators.

Create, execute, update, and maintain test cases and scenarios.

Analyse and validate functional requirements.

Support the definition of testing priorities and strategies.

Perform functional testing across different environments.

Test APIs and validate system integrations.

Use SQL to query and validate data.

Perform testing in virtual environments.
-
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.

Provide technical support for Quality Assurance and testing activities.

Report testing results, evidence, metrics, and quality indicators.

Collaborate with technical and functional teams to investigate issues.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

At least two years of professional experience in QA or Software Testing.

Practical experience in designing and executing functional tests.

SQL knowledge for querying and validating data.

Proven experience in API testing.

Ability to analyse and validate functional requirements.

Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects.

Knowledge of virtual environments.

Fluent Portuguese.

English at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken.

Availability to work on-site three days per week in Oeiras/Lisbon.

ISTQB Foundation certification.

Spanish language skills.

Previous experience in Energy-sector projects.

Experience with test and defect management tools.

Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Experience creating and monitoring testing and quality metrics.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organised, and detail-oriented, with the ability to understand functional requirements and translate them into clear and effective test scenarios.
You have hands-on experience in functional testing, API testing, and SQL. You communicate clearly with technical and business teams and take ownership of defects until they are resolved. You value product quality, document testing evidence accurately, and proactively identify risks before solutions reach production.
You are autonomous, collaborative, responsible, and available to work on-site in Oeiras/Lisbon three days per week.
