We are looking for an IT Risk Analyst
Context
The role focuses on identifying, assessing, and managing IT and operational risks across IT assets, projects, and production environments.
You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure a strong risk management culture and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Main Mission
To ensure effective IT Risk management by identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risks, while supporting projects and operations in mitigating IT and cybersecurity risks.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and assess IT risks across projects, systems, and production environments
- Analyse cybersecurity and operational risks using monitoring dashboards and frameworks
- Record, monitor, and report identified risks and follow remediation actions
- Support projects to ensure IT risk considerations are integrated
- Produce IT Risk reporting, indicators, and dashboards for management
- Analyse operational risks (RCSA, incidents, control plans, risk frameworks)
- Assess and manage operational incidents, including financial and regulatory impacts
- Ensure proper documentation of incidents in risk management tools
- Provide regular reporting to Internal Control and Management committees
Profile & Skills
- 10–15 years of experience in IT Risk, IT Audit, or IT Security
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage complex topics with autonomy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Experience in banking or financial services environments (preferred)
- Adaptability and ability to respond to management requests
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in IT Risk Management frameworks
- Knowledge of Banking Information Systems
- Understanding of Cybersecurity and Fraud risks
- Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Protection
- Familiarity with SDLC processes and methodologies
- Experience with ServiceNow GRC tool
- Strong data analysis skills
- Project Management knowledge
- Risk certifications (e.g., ISO 31000, CRISC) are a plus
Nice to have
- Previous experience in IT Risk within Banking industry
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk trends
Hybrid work model, with presence required in Lisbon office.
