We are looking for an experienced DORA Project Manager to join the governance team of a major international financial-services environment.
You will coordinate the practical implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) across multiple entities, translating regulatory requirements into clear plans and concrete actions.
This position combines project management, regulatory coordination, cybersecurity awareness, stakeholder engagement and executive reporting. You will work closely with technical teams, business owners, governance functions and senior management to monitor progress, resolve implementation challenges and strengthen digital operational resilience.
DORA Implementation and Project Delivery

Maintain and continuously improve the DORA implementation roadmap.

Translate regulatory requirements into practical actions, milestones, responsibilities and deadlines.

Support different entities with the challenges encountered during implementation.

Track progress against approved roadmaps and identify deviations at an early stage.

Ensure that project milestones and commitments are delivered according to schedule.

Challenge teams when necessary and promptly escalate delays, risks and blockers.

Connect DORA requirements with the existing cybersecurity and IT-risk framework.
Stakeholder Coordination

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned stakeholders and entities.

Organize and facilitate follow-up meetings, workshops, quick-check sessions and ad hoc checkpoints.

Support the preparation and coordination of steering committees.

Keep technical teams, business owners and management aligned throughout the project.

Clarify responsibilities, expected actions and upcoming deadlines.

Answer DORA-related questions and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Hands-on Implementation Support

Work directly with technical and business stakeholders to convert DORA requirements into concrete actions.

Support initiatives related to network segmentation, backup, operational-resilience testing and third-party monitoring.

Investigate implementation roadblocks and help teams identify suitable solutions.

Produce practical guidance and “how-to” documentation for stakeholders.

Develop knowledge in cybersecurity and operational-resilience topics that may initially be outside your main area of expertise.

Support change-management activities associated with the regulatory implementation.
Communication and Reporting

Produce clear and visual status reports, dashboards, executive summaries and one-page briefs.

Communicate project status, risks, dependencies and required actions to different audiences.

Prepare detailed analyses for senior stakeholders and management.

Explain technical and regulatory topics clearly to non-technical audiences.

Maintain an updated FAQ or SharePoint repository containing project information, common questions and lessons learned.

Minimum of 3 years of experience managing IT-oriented projects.

Proven ability to create and maintain project roadmaps.

Experience tracking milestones, deadlines, risks, dependencies and deliverables.

Experience producing project-status reports, dashboards and executive presentations.

General knowledge of IT and information systems.

Understanding of servers, networking fundamentals and the CIA triad: confidentiality, integrity and availability.

General understanding of cybersecurity testing and security controls.
