As a GSE & Tools Technician / Handyman, you will ensure that all ground support equipment (GSE) and tools are always operational, organized, and ready to support our MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) activities. You will also provide support for the facilities, performing minor maintenance and contributing to a safe, functional, and efficient work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the management, control, and preventive/corrective maintenance of GSE equipment.
- Ensure the organization, inventory, and good condition of work tools.
- Perform minor repairs and general maintenance tasks on the facilities (simple electrical work, painting, basic carpentry, minor construction, etc.).
- Support the operations team in the preparation and handling of equipment.
- Coordinate with external suppliers when necessary.
- Comply with internal safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
- Report maintenance needs, equipment replacement, or improvement requests.
What you need to have:
- High school diploma (preferred).
- Driver's license (MANDATORY)
- Forklift operator’s license (preferred).
- Proficient in English.
- Previous experience in technical roles, maintenance, GSE, tools, or as a handyman.
- General knowledge of maintenance (basic electricity, simple mechanics, DIY).
- Ability to work independently, in an organized manner, and with a problem-solving mindset.
- Good team player with availability and flexibility to support different operational areas.
- Available to work on-site full-time in Cascais
