About the role:
The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the business value of software products delivered by Agile Scrum Teams.
This is primarily an internal-facing role, working closely with the Product Manager to understand customer business problems, the product vision and the strategic direction of the overall portfolio.
The Product Owner also works directly with selected partner customers to gather feedback on existing, in-flight and proposed product features, using this input to define product capabilities and delivery priorities.
What you will do:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of customer business needs and expected outcomes;
Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to shape and refine the portfolio and product vision;
Share ownership of the product vision and ensure alignment with strategic objectives;
Hold end-to-end accountability for product delivery, including operability, scalability and sustainability of the final solution;
Own and actively manage the Product Backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized and aligned with the product roadmap;
Develop and maintain backlog artifacts, including functional requirements, non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria;
Lead functional analysis of backlog items and facilitate feature discussions;
Highlight roadmap priorities to ensure clarity and alignment across stakeholders;
Maintain a detailed, real-time understanding of delivery costs at project and release levels;
Define Program Increment or release timeboxes and establish clear Minimum Viable Product scope for each release;
Work closely with Scrum Teams to define Sprint goals, support Sprint Planning, participate in Daily Stand-ups and clarify requirements;
Review team deliverables through Sprint Demos and accept or reject work during the Sprint and at the End-of-Sprint Review;
Present accepted deliverables to the wider organization and customers;
Lead Design Partner Programs, showcasing early product versions to customers and incorporating feedback into product evolution;
Review and approve Statements of Work in collaboration with GEO teams before customer presentation;
Ensure close collaboration with Scrum Teams, ideally through co-location, to support efficient delivery and communication.
Profile required:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a significant Product Owner role;
Proven experience working with and across multiple Agile Scrum teams;
Experience engaging directly with customers and stakeholders;
Practical experience in running customer design partnership programs;
Experience operating in complex Agile environments with cross-team collaboration;
Experience within the Air Transport Industry, highly desirable.

Business, Engineering or Science-related qualification to at least Bachelor's Degree level, typically;
Other degree-level backgrounds will also be considered.
